Benita Ozoude is a Journalism and Radio-Television and Film graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. Benita is a Nigerian documentary filmmaker who wants to give underrepresented communities a platform to share their stories. Benita has worked for 2x Oscar Award-winning documentary filmmaker Barbara Kopple and other media companies such NFL Network, PBS, NPR, and The Hollywood Reporter. She is also a recipient of the 2018 Horizon Award presented by The Sundance Film Festival.
