Cyril Robinson is an émigré to the U.K from British Guiana and has since become a valued member of the community. He had a long courtship with Nonnatus midwife, Lucille Anderson, who hails from Jamaica. After a romantic proposal the two married on Boxing Day.
Cyril is driven and has a strong work ethic. He worked long hours as a mechanic at the local garage whilst also studying engineering at night school. This dedication paid off when Cyril was offered a stable job in the council. Alongside this, Cyril plays an integral role in his local church where he is Pastor. The church is in a flat above Buckle’s paper shop which also accommodates Cyril and Lucille. Cyril puts others first and is always looking to give back to the community.
