More About Season 15

In Season 15, 1971 sees the dawn of a new era. It heralds the launch of the Women's Liberation movement in the UK. 

Sister Julienne, Dr. Turner and the Nonnatus House team face serious challenges. More babies are being born in hospital, and a complete reorganization of the National Health Service is on its way. 

This series sees a premature baby kept alive by machines in a high-tech incubator and a mother’s childbirth agony vanish as she is given a pioneering epidural. Plus, the team handle cases including slavery, carbon monoxide poisoning, male breast cancer, child cruelty, and lupus. Throughout it all, the nuns and midwives are there to hold their patient’s hands.
