Timothy Turner is Dr. Turner’s biological son from his first marriage. He is precocious, bright and academic with plans to follow in his father’s footsteps into medicine - he was already reading the Lancet and the British Medical Journal when he turned thirteen. After achieving high grades in his A-levels, Timothy was accepted into medical school at Edinburgh University where he continues to excel.
Always keen to learn, and gain further experience where he can, Timothy often supports Dr. Turner, Shelagh and Miss Higgins at the maternity home and surgery during the holidays. He has an excellent relationship with his step mum, Shelagh, who he calls ‘mum’ and his younger siblings Angela, May and Teddy. Timothy is compassionate, thoughtful and enjoys playing the piano.
